Wabasca, AB. With Juli's Family For Christmas

We just got back from a couple of weeks in Wabasca, AB. where juli's family is currently living. We had a great time, there was an awesome pool next door with a rock climbing wall that you climb up and then jump off into the pool. It was fantastic. We played a lot of games, drank tea and ate great home cooked meals.

note in the pictures: Terry and Jina try and warm up a window so it will close. (it was around -30 to -38 while we were there, without the wind chill.)

so cold that Autumn's feet were freezing when she went outside. Terry and Jina put some socks on her- it didnt work to well and we had to get booties.

when we got home, maya was very happy to see us and she cuddled me while i slept.
while we were gone, she was playing fetch and got a huge cut under her tongue, had to get stitches and everything. so she is a bit of a baby right now.

Also, good news! Juli and I have been accepted to a school in Korea! We will be working at a private school in Cheungju. It is an awesome area. its like a really dense city that is surrounded by beautiful nature - something i will really like. i didnt really want to live in a huge city where you cant go for a hike or a walk in the outdoors... but now we will have that option! it is about an hour and a half southeast-ish of Seoul. We leave in feb. and start work on the 17th!! woot!

Tanner and Anjuli

Hello friends and family, or random internet weirdos. Juli and i have created this blog as an easy way to keep everyone who is interested updated about our adventure in South Korea. We can share stories and post photos on here and will try to update it every time we do anything interesting. Right now we still have a few months before we leave. Juli is preparing by finishing up her last university class and doing her TESOL certificate. I'm doing my TESOL and figuring out our visas and such. We are pretty pumped to go, although it will be tough because we will miss all of you. Please keep us in your thoughts and your prayers, keep emailing us or add us on skype. We are excited about what will be a fun adventure and a new home for us over the next year. We hope to post many photos for everyone to see. Until next time -
